The Clan Paisley Society was established on the 10th of March 1988, to rally Paisleys of the name and the blood worldwide. We now have a following and support of well over a thousand with branches in Canada, America, Australia and New Zealand. We also have a strong representation in Germany and Romania. 

Apart from our annual Gatherings (occasionally two) we are active with many other projects, principally of a charitable nature locally and nationally. 

Since the Clan's establishment last century (but with a continuous history reaching back to the thirteenth century), we have published 25 society journals, given numerous presentations and importantly participated in many major Clan events at home and overseas.  In 2017, after a year of fruitful negotiations we obtained a portion of an olive grove, one of six in Messenia in the Peloponnese, Greece. The grove is now named "Paisley Grove". 

This year another epic initiative has resulted in the most welcome alliances between the Clan Paisley Society and the Paisley Pipe Band. This surely must be unique. 

The 37th Clan Society Anniversary and 45th Gathering therefore celebrates many significant achievements - growth, consolidation and the importance of community.
