Hello to all Paisleys. We have finalized our 2015 Society tent schedule for your trip planning consideration. We will be hosting clan tents at four locations this year.

The first will be the Triad Highland Games held at the Bryan Park Complex in Greensboro, NC on May 2nd. It is off US29 just North of the city. We are honored that the Paisley Family Association will be holding their annual meeting in conjunction with the games and will be joining us at our tent. A family lunch and program will follow the clan tartan parade at 10AM. Please plan on marching with us showing off our Paisley pride. Our second location will be the Colonial Highland Gathering at Fair Hill, Maryland May16, 2015. It is located in the northeast corner of Maryland off I-95 and just south of the Pennsylvania state line. This will be their 55th year and one of the premier festivals in the region with over 500 competitors and performers from around the world competing in music, dancing, heavy athletic and other events. One of the many demonstrations that gets a lot of attention is the Sheep-to-Shawl demonstration where you can see how wool is transformed into a lovely shawl right before your eyes. Charleston, SC is our next tent location. We descend upon this historic city for the 44th annual Charleston Scottish Games and Highland Gathering September 18, 2015. The games are held at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, SC. This is our premier games where we hold our annual general meeting (AGM) for the USA branch of the Paisley Family Society. Our last location is the Central Virginia Celtic Festival and Highland Games held at the Richmond Raceway Complex in Richmond, VA. This is a two day event October 24-25, 2015. Our clan tent has a great location over looking the games field where you can watch all the heavy Scottish athletic events and enjoy the many bagpipe bands. With the games being in October the weather is usually very nice and cool; making for a perfect Scottish day. More information is available at www.vacelticfestival.org

We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy a day celebrating your Scottish heritage. If you cannot attend one of our gatherings, try to seek out a highland games near you and enjoy a day of Scottish fun.
